Pier Leone Ghezzi (* 28. June 1674 in Rome; 6. March 1755 ebenda) was an Italian painter, etcher and draughtsman.
Pier Leone Ghezzi was a pupil of his father Giuseppe Ghezzi and was also active in the field of fresco and enamel painting. Pope Benedict XIV appointed him director of the mosaic school and galleries.
He owes his reputation above all to his skill in caricature drawing. He had the gift of giving his people a surprising resemblance despite the distortion of their facial features.
