Sisto Rosa (actually Badalocchio; * around 1585 in Parma; 1647 in Rome) was an Italian painter.
Rosa was a pupil of Annibale Carraccis and friend of Giovanni Lanfranco. His paintings (on Reggio, Gualtieri, Parma, etc.) are kept in an academic manner, his engravings treated in Lanfranco's taste. Together with the latter he etched the biblical representations of Raphael in the Vatican (Rome 1607, 23 sheets), furthermore six sheets alone after the frescoes of Antonio da Correggio in the Cathedral of Parma, the four evangelists after Raphael, Amor and Pan after Agostino Carracci, the group of Laocoon and others.
